Children's News
New for Christmas -
The Children's Department is sponsoring an 'In Memory--In
Honor Tree' in the fellowship hall. We will sell red
and silver ornaments for the tree. You may purchase
personalized ornaments for $5 each. After Christmas,
you can take the ornaments home for your tree for future
Christmases. Please see the display table in the
fellowship hall.
Hot Tamales For Sale
- The Missionary Class is selling hot tamales for $12 a
dozen. Please check with any class member to purchase
some.
Upcoming Youth Dates

Post Office. All youth need to help
sort and deliver cards.

to work on Black Light Ministry

7:00 pm Wednesday's -
Youth Bible Study.
It is important that youth attend Sunday school and
church and Wednesday evening. These go towards
your 85% involvement in our activities.
Help Someone Else -
If you do not clip the coupons from the Sunday newspaper,
please bring them to the church. There are several
ministries that can use them. You do not need to cut
them out. Also, remember to save the Campbell's soup
labels and Box Tops for Education.
I wanted to take this opportunity
to invite all of the men of our church to attend our "Men of
God" group. We meet each time United Methodist Women meet
and often share programs with the ladies. We are currently
studying the series, "The Love Dare" from the movie
"Fireproof". This group focuses on issues that face men as
they attempt to fulfil God's command on their lives and to
be faithful husbands and devoted fathers. We would love to
see you there. Look for announcements concerning our
upcoming "date night" when our men take their wives to see
the movie "Courageous", this promises to be a wonderful
night of fellowship for our couples and friends.
