Music Ministry

The
music ministry at Bookwalter UMC:
- Praises
God and helps the congregation experience the Living Christ through
music in worship
- Fosters
growth as disciples and musicians by learning music that is
challenging spiritually as well as musically
- Nurtures
and cares for all of God’s children — in the choir, in the
congregation, in the world
- Offers
tremendous fun while doing all of the above!
The ministry of music at
Bookwalter is open to all who have “a song in their heart” and the
Spirit of the Lord in their souls! Rehearsals are held weekly on
Sunday evenings from 5:15 to 6:45 pm in the sanctuary. No experience
is required and you don’t have to be able to read music to join.

Schedule:
Sunday 5:15 pm Adult Choir
Wednesday 7:00 pm Children's Choir
Wednesday 6:30 pm Youth Choir
Our Children's Choir is for children
ages 4-grade 5. We meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-7 pm. We have a
wonderful time of making music together. Join us as we sing, ring bells,
and play music games.
Our Youth Choir meets Wednesdays at
7 pm in the sanctuary. We would love to have any teenager grades 6 -12 to
be a part of this group as we sing and fellowship.
Upcoming Events:
Jan. 4th Youth Choir
Concert: our youth and First Baptist Church of Woodbury Tennesse and Riverdale
Baptist Church of Murfreesboro, Tennessee will be leading our 7 pm worship
Youth need to be here by 5 pm this
Sunday to rehearse with the visiting groups. Supper will be from
6:15-6:45.
